Day 14, finally home, (i fell asleep in the middle of writing this). I got here around 1:30 am, we rode over 6 hours in rain, mist, and cold air. I rode a little over 750 miles today. The over all trip was just under 6000 miles. I can’t believe Mykie and I made it cross the entire country and back in 14 days. I know we weren’t the first to do it nor the last but the point is we actually did it. My bike needs a ton work, she’s in shambles right now but she made it, my little 883 made it. Shocks are all blown out, battery cover scraped to hell, lost bolts from everywhere, lost a few wrenches, dented my front fender from the man whole of death, oilcap won’t stay closed, turn signals don’t work, my back brake needs re bled, need a new back tire (cause HD mounted it wrong a month ago) the list goes on. Even some different engine noises I’m not sure on, And then you ask would you do it all again? Yup, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I had so much fun, met so many amazing people on the road, at born free, and saw some of the best scenery this country has to offer. Only wish I had, was more time to do it in and see more! This picture is of me in the Rockies, my face says it all, thanks again to @mykierice for snapping it and going on this crazy ride with me and letting me steal your soul a bunch! A dude in Denver said to us, “did you ride here from Ohio on that, anddd Toronto? (Talking about our sportsters) You dudes are crazy! That sounds like some idea you came up with one night while you were drunk or something,” “yup,” we replied “that is true” he then said “y’all my Heroes man, I would even think about riding this thing (an electraglide decked out) cross country” he laughed and told us safe travels as he scooted away. Best of times. Waking up in my own bed next to my lady never felt better. I do know one thing though, this trip has change my perspective on life a little. Thanks for reading and keeping up with my journeys, hope to have more stuff posted in the coming weeks. Maybe a book sometime in the near future, I don’t know, we will see. Take care and “be excellent to one another!” Cheers #foreverthechaoslife #ftcl #bornfree #bf6 #homebound #finnalyhome
